CLOTHING CARE
Good garments are made to last. Proper care helps preserve the texture, shape, and character of every WOOD ELEMENT piece over time.
Lightweight Cotton & Linen
- Hand washing is recommended. If using a washing machine, select a gentle cycle with cold water.
- Avoid soaking garments for extended periods.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Avoid high-speed spin cycles, especially for lightweight fabrics.
- Lay flat to dry whenever possible.
- Do not hang lightweight garments while wet or for long-term storage, as this may stretch the fabric and gradually affect its original shape.
- We recommend storing lightweight garments folded rather than on hangers to help maintain their shape.
- Iron or steam on a low to medium heat setting.
Outerwear
- Outerwear does not require frequent washing. Clean only when necessary to help preserve the fabric and construction.
- If washing is needed, use a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent.
- Do not tumble dry or use high heat.
- Air dry naturally away from direct sunlight.
- Store jackets on wide, supportive hangers to help maintain their shape.
Leather
- Do not machine wash or soak in water.
- Wipe clean gently with a soft damp cloth when needed.
- For a deeper clean, we recommend using a professional leather cleaning service.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
General Care
- Wash dark and light colours separately.
- Use mild detergent only.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- Always follow the care label attached to each garment.
